Nature of Projects:

“WAPCOS Ltd.” is one of the leading international Consultancies; it is a P.S.U (Public Sector Unit) under the Ministry of Water Resources. During my work Period I am engage with projects of “Planning & Designing of Narmada Main Canal Distribution Network System”.I am Engaged in planning & Designing of Distributaries and Minors Off taking from Morbi Branch Canal” in Gujarat.


1) Project name: - “Planning & Designing of Narmada Main Canal Distribution
Network System”

Responsibility:.

 Planning of Canal Network System such as Distributaries and Minor Planning (Macro Planning) & Sub minor or Water course planning (Micro Planning).
 Prepare a combined map of Morbi Branch Canal. ( 0 to 118.60 Km.)
 Successfully Completed D-1 TO D-12 Distributaries Which Include 81 Minors, 40,000 Ha. Area. (i.e. Stage II A, STGE-II C, Stage III, Stage-IV,& Drainage ) .
 Preparation of Village Contour map. with 0.25m contour interval and contour labeling
 Preparation of V.S.A. (Village Service Area). It’s area about 500ha.
 Plan Chaks of 40 to 60 ha. & Subchaks of 4 to 8 ha.
 Preparation of C.C.A Statement & CAPACITY Statement With the help of various programmes.
 Preparation of Longitude Section (L-section) with 30m interval
 Land Acquisition Schedule & J.M (Joint Measurement) Sheet.
 Drainage Design,
 Preparation & Submission of Final Report.
 Co-ordination with Client for various technical approvals, Planning & Remarks of Works, to smooth running of project.
 Submission of Maps on Different Scale Like 1:15840, 1:7960, 1:3960. as Per Work Condition.
 Also looking after and guiding a team of 6 contract Engineers.
